I guess this makeup looked fine and had "staying power", but it was very difficult to get off my skin, and I couldn't help think that ultimately, it was taking a toll on my skin by leaving so much "make-up debris" even after I had cleansed. I like to know that my skin is really clean once I get my make-up off, and with this product, I know it most certainly isn't.

My primary goal is for a mascara to HOLD a CURL after I use my eyelash curler. I haven't really liked anything since L'Oreal discontinued Architect. This one does it like no other I've tried. It tends to make a "spiky" look, which you won't like if you like more of a "fringe" of lashes, but it's the look I like. I think it's more flirty.

Maybelline has discontinued their "Pure Makeup" in the little blue tube, and this looked and sounded to me like a good substitute from CoverGirl. I was right! It blends effortlessly, and just looks very natural. My 57 year old skin is beginning to have fine lines, and I really think the best look for my skin is something lightweight and good feeling on my skin which is what this is. If I was trying to look "like a model", I'd probably want more coverage. I'm not positive I have the right shade yet, but am thinking that the light shade I tried might actually be a more natural look than the darker one I used previously with "Pure".

I have worn this for a year. It goes on citrusy and has a little too much zing at first. However, that wears off and then it has a certain undertone I have been seeking in a perfume for years. Wish I knew what it was. It reminds me of the smell of the wood in a beach cabana. Somehow I think it's very erotic.
